Hi everyone. Jesse Richardson here.
Before you say anything, I know. It’s true. The length of time since my last blog post is criminal. What’s the point of following blog if there are never any blog posts? Did I simply give up the pen?
Well, no, not quite. And I’m eager to share the work I’ve been doing (especially because it carries so much relation to the posts I do personally).
Where I’ve Been
Truth is, I have been using my pen on others’ papers before my own – and naturally, I’m excited about it.
For one, I’ve been lucky enough to be invited as a contributor over at SubscriptionSchool.com (here’s me). Subscription School is an incredible idea. Powered by Cratejoy, Subscription School is something of an open-source of information for starting, fine tuning, and learning about subscription businesses. As someone who has worked in this space for nearly half a decade (wow, that sounds serious), I’m jubilant with the prospect of sharing useful information with people who are passionate about an idea.
Elsewhere, on Yogi Surprise, I’ve also been exploring my understanding growing understanding of eastern philosophy, religion, and how to write about the practice of yoga in the Yogi Journal. I’ve scratched the surface of this before while building Organic Soul, but the refreshed focus and level of intensity has been exciting, both for my skills as a writer and for my own personal development. Despite being someone who considers themselves not exactly ‘spiritual’ in nature, I’ve found the studying of eastern thought both inspiring and highly intellectual.
Most importantly, at both ventures I’m proud to say I am surrounded by passionate, skilled, and simply impressive people. It goes without saying: whenever you get the opportunity to work with people like this, take it.
